Accolade Projects Integration with Accolade
Projects on Accolade can be integrated with Accolade Projects, allowing project managers to take advantage of their detailed project planning and monitoring capabilities as and when required. This is especially useful in situations when certain deliverables in an Accolade project need their own detailed project plan with a complete work breakdown structure including but not limited to task level assignments. These deliverable level projects are referred to as Sub-Projects. They are still reflected as deliverables on the Accolade Projects copy of the Accolade projects.
Prerequisites
You must have activated your Accolade account with Project Manager rights, and an active Accolade Projects account with a Project Manager or PMO user role assigned to your account.
To integrate Accolade projects with Accolade Projects:
-
Log into your Accolade account.
-
Create a new project, or locate and display a project, and click on
at the top right corner of the page.
-
Click on Manage from Accolade Projects.
-
Refresh the page.
Once the project has been successfully created in Accolade Projects, the Accolade Projects Project ID and Health Score will appear on the Accolade project header.
Note: The Project Health Score will appear once sufficient scheduling and/or financial data has been entered.
Note: These changes may not immediately display.
-
The Accolade Projects Project ID is linked to the respective Accolade Projects project. Click on this link to go to the connected Accolade Projects project.

If prompted, log in with your Accolade Projects credentials. The Project Editor will load with your Accolade project information.

Managing Accolade Deliverables in Accolade Projects
The following can be done to an Accolade project’s WBS from Accolade Projects once they are managed in Accolade Projects:
-
Edit start and end dates of WBS items (i.e. Activities, Deliverables). Once in Accolade Projects, the Start and End Dates of Stages are automatically calculated based on the start date of the earliest and last Deliverable/Activity.
-
Assign Resources to WBS items.
-
Convert Deliverables to Sub-Projects.
When these changes are made in Accolade Projects, they will be reflected inside of Accolade.
Likewise, for those deliverables that are still being managed in Accolade, when the following changes are made within Accolade to a project integrated to Accolade Projects, they will be reflected in Accolade Projects:
-
Edit start and end dates of Stages, Activities and Deliverables.
-
Assign Owners to Stages, Activities and Deliverables.
For more on managing Accolade projects, see the Participating In and Managing Projects > Managing Projects section in the Accolade Online Help.
To manage Accolade Deliverables in Accolade Projects:
