Assigning Resources to Kanban Cards

Once the cards and dependencies are in place, resources can be assigned to cards. This ensures that the necessary expertise and skills are allocated to each task.

To assign resources to Kanban card:

To do this, you must have a PMO or Project Manager user role assigned to your account, and must have added resources to this project.

1. Navigate to your project’s Project Editor, and click on the Kanban tab.
2. Locate the card you want to assign a resource to, and open its Card Editor.
3. Click on the Assignments tab.
• If this Kanban card has child tasks, there will be not be an Assignment tab. Instead, open the child task's Card Editor to assign a resource.
4. Click on the Add Resources button.
5. Select resources you wish to assign to this card.
6. Click OK.
